I am a wife and a mom on a journey to be healthy and happy. Welcome to my fitness journal. Each month I will update on my progress, my thoughts, frustrations, motivation and more….it wont always be pretty but it will be REAL!

There is something to be said for having the courage to start. It something else entirely to have the courage to KEEP GOING. Rolling into Month 2 and almost every day I have tried to come up with an excuse to NOT workout.

I’m too tired
I need to wash dishes
My back hurts
I don’t feel good
I worked all day
I should just take it easy today
I’ll do it tomorrow 
What’s one missed workout

 
You. Guys. ☝🏼 I’m just putting it out there. This is all the things I’ve literally told myself this week to not workout and stick to my routine. Human nature tends to want to take the easiest way or laziest way. It’s part of a survival instinct.

But I pushed through and today is my FIRST day going into week 4!!!! 👏🏻🙌🏼😃❤️ I’m celebrating this because trust me when I say it’s hard to get out of your own way and make yourself “just do it” as @Nike so elegantly put it!
